Quiz Worlds: Privacy Policy and Terms

In short: Quiz Worlds collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no adverts, no chat and no tracking. Everything you type is saved only on your own device.

Who we are

Quiz Worlds is made by SAK Labs, a small independent developer based in the United Kingdom. Contact: saklabs.apps@gmail.com.

What information the game uses

Name and age. A player can type a first name or nickname and an age. The age is used only to choose questions that suit them. You do not have to use a real name.
Game progress and settings. Coins, levels, stars, streaks and settings (sound, voice, brightness, background).

All of this is stored only on your device, in the game's local storage. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it. Deleting the game or clearing its data removes it.

What we do not do

We do not collect, sell or share personal information.
We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising IDs or location.
We do not show adverts.
There is no chat and no way for players to contact other people.

Children

Quiz Worlds is made for families and is suitable for children aged 6 and over. Because we do not collect any personal information from anyone, including children, no parental consent is needed to play. We follow the Google Play Families policy and aim to follow the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code) and the US COPPA rules.

Voice, music and pictures

Question voices are pre-recorded files that come with the game. They are downloaded from our website when first needed and kept on your device so the game can work offline. No recording or microphone is ever used.

Payments

Levels 1 to 5 in every topic are free.
Levels 6 to 20 can be unlocked with an optional one-time purchase. Optional coin bags can also be bought. Coins can also be earned free by playing.
Prices are always shown in real money before you buy.
All payments are handled by Google Play. We never see card or bank details. A simple grown-up check appears before any purchase.
Refunds and your consumer rights for digital purchases are handled through Google Play under its refund policy. You can also contact us.

Terms of use

Quiz Worlds is for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
We work hard to make questions accurate, but mistakes can happen. Please tell us if you find one.
Please take regular breaks. The game reminds players after 30 minutes.
The game is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss of game progress (for example if the app or its data is deleted, or the device is lost or reset). Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Music and sound effects were made for Quiz Worlds. Voices were made with the Kokoro speech model (Apache 2.0 licence). Font: Fredoka (SIL Open Font Licence 1.1). Pictures were made for Quiz Worlds with Canva.

Changes

If we change this policy, for example if we ever add adverts or online play, we will update this page and the date above before the change happens, and tell players in the game.
